Moderators

Moderators are members who volunteer. They check held uploads, answer reports, and look after the comments. Every action is logged, and the admins review it.

The team

Something wrong with how a moderator acted? Report it. Only the admins see those reports.

What moderators do
  • Approve or turn down uploads the automatic check held back.
  • Answer reports about wallpapers, comments, and accounts.
  • Mark or clear NSFW, and remove comments that break the guidelines.
What they don't do
  • See your email, payments, or payouts.
  • Suspend accounts, handle reports about the team, or read the audit log. The owner and admins do those.

The moderator code

  1. Be fair and consistent. Apply the Community Guidelines as written, the same way for everyone.
  2. Stay out of your own cases. Don't act on your own work, your friends', or anyone you're in a dispute with. Pass it to another moderator.
  3. Take the smallest step that works. Mark NSFW before removing. Remove a comment before asking for a suspension.
  4. Keep it private. What you see in the queues, including reports and who filed them, stays in the queues.
  5. Be kind in public. You speak for Negative Space when you comment as a moderator.
  6. Nudity is allowed. Some things never are. Sexual acts, sexual content involving minors, sexual violence, and hate are removed every time. Content involving minors also goes straight to an admin.
  7. Everything is logged. The admins read the audit log. Breaking this code ends your moderator role.
